With more than 30 years of dedicated music experience entertaining audiences, Kenny is a full-time professional keyboard player and entertainer who's talents as a singer and musician have taken him all over the world. Currently back in his native Glasgow, Scotland, Kenny is regarded as the foremost specialist in playing for ballroom and modern sequence dancing. His repertoire is vast, and as well as playing for many styles of dances, Kenny also sings too. So, you get twice the entertainment, twice the fun! Kenny can also provide accompaniment for audience members who would like to get on stage and sing with him or can provide professional accompianment to any other acts, artistes or entertainment you may want to compliment your corporate event or dance night. All the standard modern sequence dancing and ballroom dances are catered for including Quickstep, Slow Foxtrot, Modern Waltz, Tango, Breakaway Blues, Chicago Swing, Empress Tango, Honolulu Blues, Jive, plus latter day dances including the Slosh, the Alleycat, and Line Dancing etc. If you have a few audience members who love dancing but don't like to take part in the actual sequenced dance routines, no problem! Kenny makes sure there are plenty of popular freestyle dances performed throughout the evening such as quicksteps, waltzes and slow foxtrots. By mixing the order he plays the dances so that there are just as many sequenced dances as there are freestyle dances, everyone can take part and no-one is left out. Sample Dance List Generally, dance evenings will consist of two musical sets lasting around 1 hour each with a short interval in between to give the dancers a little rest. During the interval it's quite common to serve tea or alcoholic beverages, snacks, and perhaps play a little bingo, a raffle etc. The dance lists below are purely a suggestion - you can mix and match dances and have Kenny play them in any order you want. If there are any dances listed below that you don't know (or don't like), no problem! Just let Kenny know and he'll leave those ones out and include more of the dances you do like in their place. Remember, the idea is to have fun! This is your dance night and you, the audience, are the stars. Don't be afraid to tell Kenny to play the dances YOU want and he'll be more than happy to oblige...
